The Start of a Perfect Vacation

You know the best way to start a perfect vacation? Well, here is one way - make sure your vacation is to Fort Lauderdale, Florida yo. That's how. So Mala and Bek were already off to a good start when they showed up here. But we took it to the next level during their first few days here.
We took them to the beach. Well, Caitlin did. A lot of this vacation involved me being at work and these women having a freaking blast. Max loves the beach. We have a huge tent for him, lots of beach work toys, and juice.
The key item to bring to the beach these days is your iPhone...for the Facebook, reading, interneting needs you might have.
The weather while they were here was basically perfect. Sunny, low 80s.  And they loved it, licked it up and digested it until it passed through their system like the perfect poo. That is what they did.
Plus, who doesn't enjoy the beach when you got a precious baby boy to play with!!!
At night time we had a search for the best Mexican in south Florida. Come to find out, it is at Dona Raquel - an amazing taco shop hidden on a dark street near the freeway. Our awesome Mexican friend Alex hooked us up with the knowledge of this location - and they were there to eat with us. The tacos al pastor were some of the best I've ever had.
Plus I loooooooooooooooooooooove Jarritos. Love.
Mala was certainly psyched. She ordered like 9 items from the menu (possibly because it was like $2 an item) and ate it all.
Beans - gone. Farts - here.
But I can honestly say that Dona Raquel represents and matches some of our West coast Mexican restaurants in flavor and awesomeness.
I guess the real reason they were here was to see Caitlin and bond as friends.
Or maybe the reason was to celebrate Mala turning 30 years old? No...I really think the reason might have just been beach action and Mexican food.
Later that night we picked up some delicious froyo from Yogurt that just opened up on Las Olas Blvd. That shiz is good and puts me in the mood...for craziness.
Froyo friends forever. FFF.

Jeff let's be honest here...is there ever a time when you aren't in the mood for craziness? I don't think so. And that, my friend, is why we all love you!
