Our Friday adventures continued in full force with a self-guided walking tour of the Gold Coast, an affluent neighborhood just north of downtown.
Beautiful homes line the streets. We looked up a few of them that were for sale...a modest $5 million for these, a few of them for less. Certainly a steal when you compare them to NYC.
Reaction Shot #6: yeah right dad, you'll never afford one of these. dream on dude.
The original Playboy Mansion! Did you know it all started here in Chicago? LA stole the porn industry right out from under us.
Shell was a pro at entertaining Max by playing peak-a-boo through the window in his stroller. Max is less impressed by filthy money and more impressed by the element of surprise.
But is it really that wrong to want one of these?
The night began to descend upon us, so we moved further downtown to shop around.
Feef, Caitlin and Shell tried to guess which shoes I would buy if I were in the buying mood.
Sorry Puma...my life is now spent in boring business clothes...late!
Max pictures in his stroller start to look all the same, until you turn him at the same time as you take the picture.

Brothers celebrating brotherhood. With lights.
For dinner Beef, Feef and I went to Flat Top Grill in Evanston.

Reaction Shot #9: me trying to calm Beeps down from reaction shot 8.
Um, Flattop is just a joke of amazing deliciousness. It really is.
Reaction Shot #10: getting yelled at by Beeps for making a healthy suggestion. This picture does not capture her emotional fingers reaching forward to rake my eyes out.
Reaction Shot #11: I wish this was her offering to pay...but no.
