Seeing as how it was my last weekend with arm freedom, we thought we would drive up to Orlando to go to the temple and enjoy a session. Well, separate sessions while we each took turns watching Max outside.
Luckily it was an absolutely gorgeous day. Max did great during the 3 1/2 hour ride up and I got inside just in time for a noon thirty session. While inside, Caitlin parked it on the lawn and Max began the best 6 hours of his life exploring grass and having a blast with the fountains.
It ended up being a day of random friend connections. I met a friend AJ inside who I knew in both Utah and New York thanks to Phatwood. He apparently lives in Tampa now. While out on the lawn waiting for Caitlin I ran into this dude. He looked very familiar and it took a solid half hour to figure it out, but we finally made the connection. This guy Steve visited my friend Hillary in NYC for several weeks when I first moved there. Random.
He lives in Jacksonville and has a son exactly the same age as Max. They played for a while (well, as much as one year olds can play) until the wives came out of the temple.
Preciousness.
We stopped by downtown Disney on the way home for dinner, but the food was over priced and underwhelming. Oh well, at least there was an air balloon!
We'll be back for the real experience Disney, I am pretty sure about that. I am glad we had a beautiful drive, enjoying the new Iron and Wine CD and good convos. Thanks for being flexible Max and making the day easy.

Next time you go to Orlando, we're tagging along. P.S. We have an amazing hook up for Dinsey World. We can get three adults in to all four parks and free parking for a total of $60. We'll chat about it.
Matt and I were married there! How fun! If you guys drive between Orlando and Ft.L again, email me, I can recommend some of the best Puerto Rican food you will ever have! There is also a FAB place in South Beach called El Patacon that is work finding!
Have fun!
